Smart Chemistry Park
Smart Chemistry Park® is an innovation platform and cluster for start-ups and SMEs operating in bio- and circular economy and cleantech. The industrial park located in Raisio is a unique concept in Finland connecting companies and higher educational institutes to create new products and services. Companies work independently, developing their own technologies and businesses, but in close symbiosis with each other, sharing the infrastructure, equipment and know-how. The companies based in Smart Chemistry Park deliver novel technology solutions and business models to bio and circular economies. The core competence of the companies in Smart Chemistry Park® lies in different fields of chemistry. With their unique know-how, the companies deliver products or technology expertise to a wide variety of industrial sectors, for example the metal, energy, paper & packaging, building and life science industries. The Smart Chemistry Park network also includes consultant companies with essential expertise to complement the value chain with services such as chemical safety and patent engineering. At the moment 13 companies operate in Smart Chemistry Park while over 30 companies operate together in the network. Smart Chemistry Park offers laboratory, pilot and office space, as well as a broad network involving the public sector, universities and industry.
