MacGregor shapes the offshore and marine industries by offering world-leading engineering solutions and services with a strong portfolio of MacGregor, Hatlapa, Porsgrunn, Pusnes and Triplex brands. Shipbuilders, owners and operators are able to optimise the lifetime profitability, safety, reliability and environmental sustainability of their operations by working in close cooperation with MacGregor.
Currently we are over 2 000 team members in more than 30 countries, of which the largest countries are Norway, Germany, China, Sweden and Finland.
Our main location in Finland is in Kaarina, where we have approx. 130 employees. MacGregor Finland operations are focused in cargo handling solutions and lifecycle services for merchant ships including marketing & sales, engineering & design, supply chain management and research & development. We also have global lifecycle support personnel taking care of global service contracts, spare part sales, service engineering and technical support, and professionals working with RoRo conversions. In addition to this we have personnel in various support functions such as in accounting, legal, human resources and communications. In manufacturing MacGregor cooperates with partners located mainly in Asia, close to our main market area.
MacGregor is a family of innovators. By offering engineering solutions and services for handling marine cargoes and offshore loads we make the sea more accessible, safe and reliable for those whose livelihood depends on the changing conditions of the sea.
